EPA Denies Citizen Petition to Object to Xcel Energy's Operating Permit

The EPA Administrator has denied a petition by WildEarth Guardians to object to an operating permit issued to Xcel Energy's Cherokee Power Station, allowing the company to continue operating under the permit, which was issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment in 2010.
