EPA Announces Draft Water Quality Criteria for Aquatic Life Protection from Carbaryl

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released a draft national recommended water quality criteria to protect aquatic life from the toxic effects of carbaryl, a pesticide. The draft criteria, which incorporate the latest scientific knowledge, provide guidance to states and authorized tribes in adopting water quality standards.
