EPA Grants West Virginia Delegation of Authority for Hazardous Air Pollution Standards

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has notified the State of West Virginia that it has been granted authority to implement and enforce stricter air pollution standards for hazardous pollutants and new industrial facilities. This update was confirmed in a letter sent by EPA on August 29, 2011.
