U.S. Office of Personnel Management Proposes Changes to Federal Wage System Wage Areas in Texas

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management is proposing a rule to redefine the geographic boundaries of the Austin, TX, and Waco, TX, appropriated fund Federal Wage System wage areas, effectively moving Burleson and Lampasas Counties from the Austin area to the Waco area, based on recommendations from the Federal Prevailing Rate Advisory Committee.
