EPA Amends Formetanate HCl Use Deletion Order, Extends Sale and Distribution Deadline

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has amended its order for the deletion of uses of formetanate HCl, a pesticide, following a request from the sole technical registrant, Gowan Company. The amendment extends the deadline for the registrant to sell and distribute existing stocks of the product until January 31, 2012.
