DoD Issues Final Rule on Government Self-Insurance Policy for Fixed-Price Contracts

The Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to expand the government's self-insurance policy to cover government property provided under negotiated fixed-price contracts without certified cost or pricing data.
