DoD Adopts Final Rule for Simplified Acquisition Threshold for Humanitarian or Peacekeeping Operations

The Department of Defense (DoD) has adopted a final rule, effective immediately, to implement a simplified acquisition threshold for humanitarian or peacekeeping operations, allowing for purchases up to twice the normal amount without a full acquisition process.
