EPA Finds Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets for Sacramento County Adequate for Conformity Purposes

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the motor vehicle emissions budgets for particulate matter with a diameter of 10 microns or less (PM10) for the years 2008, 2012, and 2022 in the Sacramento County PM10 Implementation/Maintenance Plan are sufficient for transportation conformity purposes, requiring the Sacramento Area Council of Governments and the US Department of Transportation to use these budgets in future conformity determinations.
