U.S. Government to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan

The U.S. government, in partnership with the State of Florida, plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan, a multi-billion dollar project aimed at protecting and restoring the Everglades ecosystem, which spans over 200 miles and 18,000 square miles of southern Florida.
