EPA Grants California Authorization to Regulate Diesel Emissions from Commercial Harbor Craft

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has been granted permission by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to implement regulations controlling particulate matter and oxides of nitrogen emissions from new and in-use diesel engines on commercial harbor vessels.
