New York State Prohibition of Discharges of Vessel Sewage; Final Affirmative Determination

New York State has petitioned the EPA for a determination that adequate facilities for safe sewage removal are available for Lake Ontario, allowing a complete ban on vessel sewage discharges. The proposed Vessel Waste No Discharge Zone would cover approximately 3,675 square miles and 326 linear shoreline miles of the lake.
