EPA Approves Florida's Plan to Reduce Hospital Waste Incinerator Emissions

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve the state of Florida's plan to implement and enforce stricter emissions guidelines for existing hospital waste incinerators, which burn any amount of hospital waste and/or medical/infectious waste, as submitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection on December 21, 2010.
