EPA Approves Florida Plan to Regulate Hospital Waste Incinerator Emissions

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a state plan submitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to implement and enforce emissions guidelines for existing hospital waste incinerators in the state of Florida, as required by the Clean Air Act. The plan was submitted on December 21, 2010.
