U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Updates Guidelines for Water Sources After Loss-of-Coolant Accident

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has revised its Regulatory Guide 1.82 to provide updated guidelines for evaluating the adequacy of water sources for long-term recirculation cooling following a loss-of-coolant accident at nuclear power plants.
