U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Regulations for Nuclear Power Plant Inspections and Acceptance Criteria

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is updating its rules for verifying construction activities at nuclear power plants, requiring licensees to report new information and notify the NRC of ITAAC completion, and revising a regulatory guide to align with the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
