Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Granted Special Nuclear Materials License, Commission Orders Procedures for Access to Sensitive Information

The U.S. Commission has accepted Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's application for a special nuclear materials license, while also granting the opportunity to request a hearing and petition for leave to intervene in the matter. The commission has also issued an order outlining procedures for accessing sensitive, unclassified, non-safeguards information in preparation for contention.
