NRC Submits Proposal for OMB Review of Information Collection for Financial Protection Requirements and Indemnity Agreements

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a proposal to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, requesting an extension of the collection of information under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The NRC is seeking public comment on this proposal, which pertains to the 'Financial Protection Requirements and Indemnity Agreements' (10 CFR 140) and is required for reactor facility licensees to meet their responsibilities under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
