Porsche Secures Exemption for Macan Vehicle Line from Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard

The US Department of Transportation has granted Porsche Cars North America, Inc. an exemption for the Macan vehicle line, allowing it to forego the installation of an anti-theft device as standard equipment in favor of marking parts with a unique identifier, as required by the Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard.
