DoD, GSA, and NASA Issue Interim Rule on FAR Terms of Service and Open-Ended Indemnification

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have issued an interim rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in response to a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) opinion regarding the use of unrestricted, open-ended indemnification clauses in social media acquisitions.
