DoD, GSA, and NASA Adopt Final Rule on FAR Indemnification Clauses for Social Media Applications

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have adopted a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in response to a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Legal Counsel opinion regarding the use of unrestricted indemnification clauses in social media acquisitions.
