Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection to Expand Disclosure of Consumer Complaint Narrative Data

The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is proposing to expand its disclosure of consumer complaint narrative data, and is seeking public comment on the proposal. The Bureau currently discloses certain complaint data via its Consumer Complaint Database, and has extended the public comment period for the proposed policy statement from August 22, 2014 to September 22, 2014.
