FCC Extends Outage Reporting Rules for Internet and Phone Providers Until September 30, 2015
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to extend the reporting requirements for internet and phone outages to service providers until September 30, 2015, as part of the Commission's rules announced in the Extension of the Commission's Rules Regarding Outage Reporting to Interconnected Voice Over Internet Protocol Service Providers and Broadband Internet Service Providers Report and Order (Order)
