FDA Extends Comment Period for Produce Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the comment period for the proposed rule on 'Standards for the Growing, Harvesting, Packing, and Holding of Produce for Human Consumption' to allow more time for public input. The FDA received requests to extend the comment period, and as a result, the agency is extending the review period for the information collection provisions of the rule.
