FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Molecular Diagnostic Instruments with Combined Functions

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a draft guidance document outlining its current thinking on regulating molecular diagnostic instruments that combine device and non-device functions, and the type of information required for submissions to the FDA.
