FDA Proposes Amendment to Infant Formula Regulations to Include Selenium

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to add selenium to the list of required nutrients in infant formula and establish minimum and maximum levels of selenium in infant formula, with the goal of improving the nutritional value of these products.
