FDA Announces Cooperative Agreement to Combat Salmonella in Poultry Industry

The FDA is seeking a single-source application to fund a collaborative project with North Carolina State University and the Piedmont Research Station to reduce Salmonella transmission in table eggs and poultry products, with the goal of implementing preventative measures and studying the impact of physical feed characteristics and housing on transmission.
