Sensient Technologies Corporation Withdraws FDA Color Additive Petition

The FDA is withdrawing its petition to amend color additive regulations for External D&C Violet No. 2, a color used in externally applied drug products, without prejudice to future filing. The withdrawal does not affect the safe use of the color additive.
