FDA Releases Guidance on Active Controls for New Animal Drugs in Companion Animals

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a new guidance document, 'Active Controls in Studies to Demonstrate Effectiveness of a New Animal Drug for Use in Companion Animals,' which provides industry advice on using active controls in studies to prove the effectiveness of new animal medications for companion animals.
