The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released a final report outlining a method for incorporating toxicogenomic data into human health risk assessments, with a focus on dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and its effects on male reproductive development. The report, titled 'An Approach to Using Toxicogenomic Data in U.S. EPA Human Health Risk Assessments: A Dibutyl Phthalate Case Study,' was developed by a multidisciplinary team of scientists at the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) within EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD).
