EPA Establishes Pesticide Tolerances for Hexythiazox on Corn and Other Crops

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an emergency exemption under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to use hexythiazox on sweet corn grown for seed, and established time-limited tolerances for combined residues of hexythiazox in various corn products, which will expire on December 31, 2012.
