EPA Approves Virginia's Air Quality Implementation Plan Revision for Opacity Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve the Commonwealth of Virginia's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision, which updates methods for determining compliance with opacity standards for stationary sources in the state, without prior public comment period, as the agency views this as a noncontroversial submittal.
