EPA Finds Adequate Emissions Budgets for Denver Metro Area Ozone Attainment Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the motor vehicle emissions budgets for nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds in the Denver Metro Area and North Front Range 8-Hour Ozone Attainment Plan are sufficient for transportation conformity purposes, requiring the Denver Regional Council of Governments, North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization, Colorado Department of Transportation, and U.S. Department of Transportation to use these budgets in future determinations.
