U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks Inventory 1990-2008 Now Available for Public Review

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released the Draft Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks: 1990-2008, which provides an annual summary of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 to 2008, along with estimates of carbon sinks in U.S. agricultural and forest lands. The inventory is based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) methodologies and follows the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) reporting guidelines.
