EPA Proposes Approval of Texas Air Quality Plan to Reduce Ozone Emissions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revision to the Texas State Implementation Plan, which will add stricter controls on volatile organic compound emissions in the Houston/Galveston/Brazoria 8-hour ozone nonattainment area, aiming to lower ozone levels in the region.
