EPA Exempts Alkyl (C12-C16) Dimethyl Ammonio Acetate from Tolerance Requirement
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of Alkyl (C12-C16) dimethyl ammonio acetate (ADAA), a surfactant used in pesticide formulations for pre-harvest uses, allowing for a maximum concentration of 20% in products. This exemption was granted in response to a petition submitted by Technology Sciences Group, Inc. on behalf of Rhodia, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
