EPA Finalizes Emission Standards for New Marine Diesel Engines

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing emission standards for new marine diesel engines with a displacement of 30 liters or more, which will come into effect in two stages, starting in 2011 and 2016, respectively, with a goal of reducing NOx emissions by 80% by 2016.
