EPA Disapproves SCAQMD Revisions to California's Clean Air Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its disapproval of a revision to the South Coast Air Quality Management District's portion of California's State Implementation Plan, citing deficiencies in the plan's handling of volatile organic compound emissions from polymeric foam manufacturing operations, as mandated by the Clean Air Act of 1990.
