EPA Announces 90-Day Public Comment Period for Dioxin Toxicity Report

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is launching a 90-day public comment period for a draft report reevaluating the toxicity of dioxin and responding to comments from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). The report, titled EPA's Reanalysis of Key Issues Related to Dioxin Toxicity and Response to NAS Comments, includes new analyses on potential human health effects from exposure to dioxin, a toxic substance that was previously studied in the context of EPA's dioxin reassessment activity.
