EPA to Delete Portion of MDI Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 is issuing a notice to delete the soils and groundwater of a 8-acre portion of the Many Diversified Interests, Inc. (MDI) Superfund Site in Houston, Texas, from the National Priorities List (NPL), and is seeking public comments on the proposal. The EPA and the State of Texas have determined that all necessary cleanup actions have been completed, but this deletion does not rule out future Superfund actions.
