Coast Guard Temporarily Deviates from Drawbridge Regulation for Maintenance Work

The US Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation to allow the Lapalco Boulevard bascule span drawbridge across the Harvey Canal Route, Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, to remain closed to navigation for seven consecutive days while the bridge undergoes maintenance, including the replacement of four drive panels for the motors that operate the bridge.
