Coast Guard Issues Temporary Regulation for CN Railroad Drawbridge at Pass Manchac, LA

The US Coast Guard has temporarily relaxed regulations for the Canadian National Railroad automated bascule span drawbridge at Pass Manchac, allowing it to remain closed to navigation for six hours on two consecutive days while upgrading its electrical drive system and replacing seals on the gear drive unit.
