HHS Terminates COVID-19 Emergency Use Declaration

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is ending the authorization for emergency use of drugs and biological products during the COVID-19 pandemic, effective June 29, 2027, following a determination that circumstances no longer justify this authorization.
