Coast Guard Proposes Permanent Safety Zones in Hawaiian Harbors

The US Coast Guard is proposing to create permanent safety zones in nine commercial harbors across Hawaii to facilitate faster evacuations in the event of a tsunami warning, with the goal of protecting people and vessels in the harbors.
