DEA Proposes Scheduling Beta-Hydroxythiofentanyl as Schedule I Controlled Substance

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has proposed placing beta-hydroxythiofentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid, under the same regulatory controls as Schedule I controlled substances, including strict controls on manufacture, distribution, and possession, if finalized.
