HHS Proposes Changes to Breach Response Routine for Health Records
The Department of Health and Human Services is proposing to modify its records system to include a breach response routine, allowing federal agencies and contractors to access health records in response to a suspected or confirmed data breach, in compliance with Office of Management and Budget guidelines.
