FDA to Host Public Conference on Drug-Induced Liver Injury: Are We Ready to Look?
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is hosting a public conference to discuss and debate drug-induced liver injury (DILI) with the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the Pharmaceutical and Research Manufacturers of America. The conference aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the FDA's 2009 guidance on premarketing clinical evaluation for DILI and gather suggestions for future revisions.
