FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Pre-Storage Leukocyte Reduction of Blood Components
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft document outlining recommendations for blood establishments to reduce leukocytes in whole blood and blood components before storage, replacing a previous draft guidance from 2001 and superseding a 1996 memorandum.
