HHS to Evaluate Petition for Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include a class of employees from W.R. Grace and Company in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers employees who worked with hazardous materials at the facility in Curtis, Maryland, from 1955 to 2009.
