Public Comment Period Opened for SUNCLIPPER II Waiver Request

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comments on a request for a waiver of U.S.-build requirements for the coastwise trade laws for the vessel SUNCLIPPER II. The waiver request is authorized by 46 U.S.C. 12121, which grants the Secretary of Transportation the authority to grant such waivers under certain circumstances.
