FAA Proposes New Policy for Aircraft Data Release via ASDI Program

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new policy for limiting the release of aircraft data through its Access to Aircraft Situation Display to Industry (ASDI) program, allowing aircraft owners and operators to opt-out of public disclosure. The FAA invites public comment on the proposal until a final decision is made.
